Apostates Ex-Mas Party

Are you someone who’s left a high-control group like the Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, or a legalistic church? You’re not alone—and this holiday season, After The Truth invites you to join us for our annual Apostates Ex-Mas Party on December 21, 2024, at 5:30 PM at the Renfrew Community Hall!

This is a special evening for anyone recovering from a cult or restrictive religious background to come together, share stories, and celebrate newfound freedom with people who truly understand.

The event will feature:

• Potluck Dinner—Bring a dish to share, or just come and enjoy the spread! We will provide rotisserie chicken and beverages. In the RSVP form comments, let us know if you can bring a side dish, salad, or dessert.
• Karaoke – Belt out your favourite tunes in a welcoming, judgment-free space.
• Pool & Games – Relax and have fun with fellow ex-members as we unwind and enjoy each other’s company.

Whether you’re newly out or have been free for years, this is a night to connect, laugh, and heal. Let’s embrace the holiday season together, with joy and community, in a place where no one will judge you for your past beliefs.
